The Trek Snowdon at Night 2025 is a unique fundraising event in support of East Cheshire Hospice. Participants will hike to the summit of Snowdon under the stars, experiencing the beauty of Wales' highest peak at night while raising essential funds.

Story

On the 7th of December 2024, my beloved dad, Keith Hague, passed away at East Cheshire Hospice, where he spent the final three nights of his life. The care, compassion, and dignity they provided were truly a blessing—not only for him but for us as a family.

Now, I want to give back to this incredible place that gave us so much when we needed it most.

💕 Why East Cheshire Hospice?

East Cheshire Hospice is a sanctuary of kindness, providing comfort, support, and specialist care to patients and their families facing the most challenging times. Their work goes beyond medical care; they offer emotional and spiritual support, ensuring that no one faces their final journey alone.

Every donation helps the hospice continue their vital work, allowing them to offer their services free of charge to those in need.

🚶‍♂️ The Challenge: Snowdon at Night

To honour my dad and raise funds for this incredible cause, I will be taking on the challenge of trekking up Snowdon at night. Under the glow of the stars, each step of the 9 mile route will be a tribute to those receiving care at East Cheshire Hospice.

🌻 How You Can Help

East Cheshire Hospice provides exceptional, free end-of-life care, but 80% of its annual running costs come from donations and fundraising. It takes £9,362 every single day to keep their services running, so every donation truly makes a difference.

Any amount you can give will go directly to East Cheshire Hospice, helping them continue their incredible work.

I would be truly grateful for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or simply spreading the word. Together, we can make a difference in memory of my dad and in honour of all the families who need the hospice’s care.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
