Story
As Captain this year, I had the honour of choosing a charity for us to support. Children have always been very close to my heart, and for that reason the NSPCC is a cause that means a great deal to me.
I appreciate it isn’t a local charity, but with the current cost‑of‑living crisis putting even more pressure on vulnerable families, I believe this is a truly worthy cause that needs our help now more than ever.
Having been part of this society for over 30 years, I’ve made many friends and shared countless great memories. I hope you’ll join me once again in supporting a charity that protects children when they need it most.
In a lovely twist of fate, our society has come full circle — the NSPCC was our very first charity back in 1988. It feels fitting to return to where we began.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all out on the golf course this year.
Many thanks for your support and for any donations you are able to make.
