Every pound you donate will go to Scottish Huntington's Association & will also count as a ticket for our raffle which will take place at the end of our historic first game when a HalfwayUpMiddle "All Star" team plays the Ship Inn on Elie Beach on Sunday 31st August. Our All Star team will feature legends of Scottish Cricket past and present and be a wonderful way to end the cricket season at glorious Elie Beach with the wonderful hospitality of The Ship Inn! Entry is free and we would love to see you there!

We have over 20 prizes in our raffle with a wide range of prizes including Hospitality at Pittodrie at a game of your choice, to a bat signed by Michael Vaughan on the day England won the Ashes back in 2005. All prizes will be announced throughout August on HalfwayUpMiddle social media!

We are raising money for the Scottish Huntington's Association. Huntington’s disease (HD) is a rare, inherited and life-limiting condition that affects not just those diagnosed, but entire families. It causes a gradual breakdown of nerve cells in the brain, leading to devastating physical, mental, and emotional challenges. In Scotland alone, more than 1,100 people are living with HD – and many more are at risk. There is currently no cure, but there is hope, and that’s where the Scottish Huntington’s Association (SHA) makes an incredible difference.

The SHA is the only charity in Scotland dedicated exclusively to supporting individuals and families impacted by HD. Their specialist team provides vital services such as HD specialist nurses, financial wellbeing support, and youth advisors who help young people growing up in HD families. They give people the tools, care, and guidance to live well for as long as possible, while campaigning tirelessly for better awareness, services, and research.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps the SHA continue its life-changing work. It might fund a counselling session for someone newly diagnosed, help a family navigate complex care needs, or provide emotional support for a child who has a parent with HD. Your generosity can give comfort, dignity, and hope to families facing the unimaginable.
