Halima Jalalova Zeynalova & Can Uludag are fundraising to support the DEC Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal at Hughes Hall College, University of Cambridge.

A series of devastating earthquakes have hit Turkiye and Syria on Feb 6, 2023 killing over 44,000 people and injuring many more. The deadly earthquake struck while people were inside their homes, asleep in their beds, with no warning signs.

More than 54,000 buildings, including hospitals and schools, have been destroyed or damaged. People have been left without shelter in freezing winter conditions. 

Please give generously to support their response on the ground to the immediate aftermath of this disaster by providing emergency support in the way of shelter, warm clothing and food & water to everyone who has lost their homes and are out on the streets.

- £10 could provide blankets for two people to keep them warm

- £50 could provide emergency food for two families for 10 days

- £100 could provide emergency shelter for four families
