Nick and myself are excited to participate in the Lincolnshire Churches Ride and Stride event on 12 September 2026, raising funds for St Andrew's Church, Halton Holegate. This is a cycling challenge that supports the preservation and care of historic churches across Lincolnshire. The annual event offers a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside while visiting architecturally significant places of worship, including our own parish church, which dates back to 1370.

The funds raised during this event are vital. Half of all sponsorship money goes directly to the Lincolnshire Churches Trust, which provides grants that have helped maintain and restore many churches in our benefice, including St Andrew's. Despite recent repairs, ongoing maintenance is essential to preserve the fabric of this historic building for future generations.
