🔨🎅 Hammering It for Phil!

A brain the size of a planet, a hammer for every problem, and a fundraising target of £1 million…

If Phil were here, he'd probably have something to say about all this. And knowing Phil, it would probably involve a hammer. 😂

We're taking part in the Santa Fun Run for Princess Alice Hospice in memory of our wonderful friend Phil, raising money for the hospice that cared for him.

Phil was a great friend to Felix and helped him enormously at the Repair Café. He had a fantastic sense of humour, and if something needed fixing, well, why mess about when you could just reach for a hammer? 🔨

Phil and Felix also shared a particular fondness for Marvin, the Paranoid Android from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and his immortal words:

"I've got a brain the size of a planet…" 🤖

We're not entirely sure if our brains are planet or pea sized, but we've decided to run around dressed as Santa and ask people for money!

And how much are we hoping to raise?

🎯 ONE MILLION POUNDS! £1,000,000! 🎯

Yes, you read that correctly. One million quid.

We thought it was an appropriately modest target. Phil would almost certainly have laughed at the idea, questioned our sanity, and suggested we try hitting it with a hammer.

To be fair, we're not expecting to raise a million pounds. Phil would have had a chuckle if we actually pulled it off! ❤️

Every donation, however big or small, will help us support the hospice that looked after Phil. Princess Alice Hospice provides incredibly important care and support to patients and their families when they need it most, and we'd love to give something back in Phil's memory.

So please dig deep, donate what you can, and help us hammer it home for Phil!
