COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Hampshire Police FC have made it through to the ESFL (Emergency Services Football League) Cup Final. The ESFL is a national competition involving emergency services, armed forces and prison services competing across Great Britain.

The team are playing Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue FC on Saturday 8th June 2024 at the Sixways Stadium in Worcester.

The team would like to use this opportunity to raise awareness of their favourite charity, for the families of our colleagues who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The charity, COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives. Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.

Please help the team to raise money for this charity that is very close to our hearts.

If you require further information about the cup final please contact us on hampshire.policefc@hampshire.police.uk or 07826 852796.
