Morocco and Libya have been hit by two devastating disasters in the past few days. On Friday 8th September 2023, an 8.6 Magnitude earthquake struck Morocco, leaving a death toll of 2,901 and counting. A few days later, Libya was hit by Storm Daniel, with the death toll now reaching 5,200 and counting. Entire cities have been destroyed and many people have lost their homes and livelihoods.
We must come together to help rebuild these countries. Islamic Relief is fundraising to support those affected by these disasters, with a minimum target of £1,500. My request is if everyone can help me raise enough for any of the attached items listed in the poster or at least if each family member gets together and picks one thing to raise money towards, we can make a huge difference in the lives of those affected.
