Story

Hi everybody!

So around the years of 2018 - 2019 I decided that I wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (Africa); this was just because I wanted to challenge myself, be adventurous and do something different (plus I love travelling!)

The global pandemic got in the way unfortunately and I couldn’t do it. But I still made it my aim to do it when I could finally go without complications.

THAT TIME IS NOW!

My story..

Prior to this I found myself battling some severe mental health complications. I was suffering from depression and anxiety for a very long time. (But I will not be going into detail as I’d rather keep that personal).

One day with encouragement, I decided to phone the Samaritans (it took a lot). The volunteer on the other end of the phone was amazing. He let me speak, he let me breathe and he was exactly what I needed at that time.

THE SAMARITANS

- non judgmental, available 24/7 if you need to talk to someone.

I really wanted to give something back, so raising money for both the Samaritans and Cancer Research UK is what I’ll be doing while I climb Kilimanjaro.
