Safer Places is a independent charity which supports survivors of domestic abuse by providing a comprehensive service of advice, support, advocacy, education, training and immediate access to our safe accommodation when required. We aim to empower our clients to live brighter, safer futures.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page in support of our project, 'Re-build a Home' with Safer Places (The Essex and Herts charity supporting adult and child survivors of domestic abuse).

Over 4,900 domestic abuse phone calls to the police, within a single year, have been made within our areas of Epping Forest and Harlow. This equates to around 94 calls a week. (Data from the police service and Safer Places).

Knowing how important a safe home is, Hammond & Smith are proud to support this project, helping local women, men and their children re-build a safe home after domestic abuse.
