The Challenge:

Young people face numerous barriers when it comes to entering the job market. Unfortunately, those aged 16-24 are particularly vulnerable, with statistics showing they are three times more likely to be unemployed compared to older age groups. This stark reality not only impacts their immediate livelihood, but also poses long-term challenges in terms of their future prospects and well-being.

The Solution: Street League

Street League offers a unique approach to addressing youth unemployment by combining sport with employability coaching. Through structured programs and mentorship, young people are equipped with essential skills and the confidence needed to secure sustainable employment or pursue further education and training.

As someone who has personally benefited from social mobility initiatives, grants, and scholarships throughout my academic journey, I understand the transformative power of opportunities. These experiences have shaped my life trajectory and instilled a deep sense of gratitude.
