Lucy and myself are asking for donations to The Princess Alice Hospice in memory of Brian for two reasons – to enable the Princess Alice Hospice to provide the same fantastic care and support for others and to recognise his incredible strength and positivity in dealing with his cancer diagnosis right from the start, 6 years ago.

Brian sadly passed away on Sunday 2nd July 2023, it truly was heartbreaking for us all and we miss him incredibly.Brian was a kind, caring and a heart warming man. He always made me feel very welcome and loved into they Bates family, and no matter what would put a smile on my face and make me laugh. 

Brian’s one wish was that did not want to pass away at home, and we were so lucky that Princess Alice Hospice was able to care for Brian and his family in the last few days. We are so grateful for the support they provided. The hospice depends on donations to continue to deliver their brilliant services – it deserves our support in return.
