Henry To Climb The Highest Mountain In Britain!
We develop education to support disadvantaged communities

Story

In August 2023, Henry will be taking on the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis.

Ben Nevis sits in the Western Highlands of Scotland and at 1,344m high it is the highest peak in Britain.

He will be doing this alongside his Mummy and Daddy, who are both equally excited to participate in this challenge

Henry will be taking on this challenge in aid of Mobile Education Partnership (MEP), a fantastic Northeast based charity dedicated to delivering professional development through teacher-to-teacher partnerships in disadvantaged communities In Southeast Asia, primarily in Myanmar (Burma) and on the Thai Myanmar border.

MEPs hard-working members, who mostly come from an educational background, work in communities suffering the worst effects of poverty, oppression, and conflict.

Like many, I’m sure you take for granted the opportunity of not only going to school but doing so in a safe environment. For Henry especially, who is currently at school, him seeing what the children in these refugee communities in Myanmar go through, makes him understand how lucky he is and why he feels strongly in supporting and raising money for this charity.

This will be a real challenge for Henry, and we will have lots of Haribo packed to motivate him along the way.

If you would like to donate and give Henry the motivation to complete this real achievement but also play a part in supporting the chance to improve the life chances of children and adults in these disadvantaged communities, then please donate.

thank you

Jonny, Hannah & Henry
