In April, I am taking on the London Marathon in memory of my mum, Karen, who passed away at 55 after a 20-year battle with a rare Prion disease. I would greatly welcome any donations, big or small, to ACROSS, a charity dedicated to providing transport and support to those with special care needs on pilgrimages to Lourdes. ACROSS and their wonderful team in Chingford accompanied my mum on 3 trips to Lourdes which brought her joy and peace in her final years.
