Earlier this year, our friends Steffi & Josh experienced the unimaginable — the loss of their baby girl, Matilda. Matilda was already so deeply loved, so longed for, and will always be a part of our lives. There are no words that can truly capture that kind of heartbreak, but there are ways we can honour her.

In Matilda’s memory, a small group of us — including Steffi — will be coming together to raise money for Tommy’s. We’ll be taking part in many events over the coming months and years, as we work towards our goal, including half marathons, marathons, walks and swims 🚶🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️

Tommy’s is a charity dedicated to funding research into pregnancy and baby loss, and supporting families through the most difficult of times. They work tirelessly to understand why tragedies like this happen and how they can be prevented, so that fewer families have to endure this pain in the future.

Together, we are aiming to raise £10,000 in Matilda’s name — for Steffi & Josh, for all the families affected by baby loss, and for the babies who should be here but aren’t.
