My multi-day trek in the Sahara Desert for CoppaFeel!

CoppaTrek! Sahara Desert · 8 November 2025 to 16 November 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
This is my wonderful friend Kris and I (in the picture above)
Back in 2009 she founded the incredible, life saving charity CoppaFeel! with her twin sister Maren after Kris was diagnosed with incurable (stage 4 / secondary) breast cancer at the age of 23.
Kris and I worked together on a music festival for CoppaFeel! for many years alongside Fearne Cotton and our other wonderful friend Sarah. Some of my favourite musicians played in support; RAYE, Lianne La Havas, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Staves, Billie Marten, Lucy Rose, Rae Morris, Marika Hackman, Flyte. Completing the epic line ups were the likes of; RAYE, McFly, Basement Jaxx, Stereophonics, Busted, Tom Grennan, B*Witched, Everything Everything, James Bay. I made Christmas albums in support of CoppaFeel! that were played across BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and got lots of lovely press.
In May last year, Kris died after 15 years of living with secondary breast cancer. If anyone knew how to live life to the fullest, it was Kris. Also affectionately known as the Queen of Turd Glittering. 💩
Whilst Festifeel is on hiatus, I’ve been thinking of ways to further support this incredible charity and if there’s ever anyone who’s going to get me to Trek the Sahara, it’s Kris. So here we are.
In November, I alongside 119 other people will be trekking the Sahara Desert for CoppaFeel! If there’s ever anyone who’s going to get me to Trek 100km through the Sahara, it’s Kris. So here we are.
This November I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! I will embark on a 5 day trek in the Sahara Desert, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
Your donations will not only support my fundraising target, but most importantly CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
Thanks so much for your donation & support. To find out more about CoppaFeel! head to www.coppafeel.org.
