Story
I'm running the Great North Run (half marathon!) on behalf of The Miscarriage Association, a charity who have given me endless support during both of my miscarriages.
I suffered a missed miscarriage in December 2024 at 10 weeks pregnant, then suffered another miscarriage at 7 weeks pregnant in March 2025 and The Miscarriage Association were there both times with amazing information, support and a listening ear.
Going through 2 miscarriages in such a short space of time, for a baby so desperately wanted, is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and I am determined to raise awareness and money so this charity can help lots of other women like myself.
Having a miscarriage is not something to be ashamed of and I believe speaking about it and raising awareness is one of the most important ways to support other women and families going through it.
Thank you for reading and I am grateful for any support you can give :)
