I’m running to raise £1,200 — the cost of supporting a child in school for an entire year. That covers everything: school fees, food, uniform, books, and basic care. One year of stability. One year of hope.

The little girl I’m fundraising for was found abandoned in a bathroom as a baby in Kenya. The woman who rescued her loved her as her own — until she was tragically killed in a road accident two years ago. She left behind several children. Three of them still urgently need school fees, food, uniforms and books.

I carry this quote with me as I train:
