Why I’m running the Sheffield Half Marathon for Rotherham Hospice
I’m running the Sheffield Half Marathon to support Rotherham Hospice, a local charity that cares for people in our community who are living with a terminal illness, and supports their families too.
Rotherham Hospice helps people live as fully and comfortably as possible, focusing on the person, not just the illness, and offering compassionate support at home and in the hospice.
This cause is important to me because:
They cared for my mum at her end of life , and we did Josh’s funeral donations to the hospice too , I contacted Ruth at the hospice to speak to her regarding Josh’s donations and she invited me in for a coffee and a chat , they have offered me support after the recent events and have taken me under their wings, I have done and will continue to volunteer helping out when I can.
An amazing place , very caring ❤️
As an independent charity, Rotherham Hospice relies on fundraising to continue this vital work, and every donation really does make a difference.
Thank you so much for your support 🧡
