Story
When I signed up for this triathlon, it was a personal challenge. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do something that genuinely scared me.
Crossing that finish line made me realise I’d love to use this achievement for something bigger.
As someone who is dyslexic, and as a mum watching my son navigate the same challenges, I’ve seen first-hand how many families have to fight for support that should already exist.
There are so many children and adults living with undiagnosed dyslexia or struggling without the support they need. With the right understanding and intervention, lives can be changed, confidence can be rebuilt, and futures can look very different.
If doing this triathlon around Windermere can make even a small difference, then every early morning, every training session and every bit of hard work that went into crossing that finish line was worth it!
If you’d like to support the cause, I’d be incredibly grateful❤️
THANK YOU!
