Story
On 10th May 2026, I’ll be taking part in the Bromsgrove Fun Run, proudly organised by the Bromsgrove and District Branch of Blood Cancer UK.
Blood Cancer UK is a passionate community dedicated to beating blood cancer through groundbreaking research and vital support for those affected. But there’s still so much to do. Blood cancer is the 5th most common cancer in the UK and the 3rd biggest cancer killer. It’s also the most common cancer in children.
A message from Jess -
In 2023 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, after a long 6 months of intensive Chemotherapy every 2 weeks, fast forward to 2026 I am in remission and finding ways to give back to a community that I became apart of.
With your help every penny donated will go towards supporting individuals and family’s just like mine.
A message from Hannah -
I became friends with Jess shortly after she returned to work following treatment. I didn’t know Jess when she went through treatment, but the tough times don’t just stop once someone receives the all clear. Jess had many battles following mentally and physically which luckily I have managed to be by her side for.
Jess has a list of things she’s looking to achieve in 2026 with one of them being a 10k. I have decided to join her on this goal, although I’m sure we will grunt and groan on the way round, it’ll never be as hard as what Jess had to go through in 2023. ❤️
Thank you for your support!
