Story

We are running a marathon to raise money for Clatterbridge cancer charity. We decided to run the marathon just after Hannah's dad was diagnosed with his cancer in order to turn the situation into something a bit more positive. Clatterbridge have been amazing in helping both of our families and we hope that this money helps to give something back.

Hannah: My dad was diagnosed with plasma cell Leukaemia in August last year and has since been looked after by Clatterbridge. The staff at Clatterbridge have been kind and attentive, even when my dad tells them a bad joke or two! The money we raise will continue to support my dad along with other peoples friends and family.

Lana: I'm raising money for my Grandad who is also been treated at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and I wanted to raise money to contribute helping the charity who are doing amazing work as a part of his treatment. All the staff have been so kind, supportive and caring making this difficult experience feel just a little bit easier.
