Story
We (mother and daughter) are swimming 10km down the River Dart in September 2025. That's 10,000 meters (6.21miles) a marathon distance swim!
Whilst doing this I am raising money so children with disabilities can enjoy the water as much as I do.
We both got our love of swimming from Helen's Dad, and Hannah's Grandad, Alan who was a highly respected swimming coach and went on to be president of Midland District Swimming Association. He took pride in developing swimmers of all abilities. Helen found her love of teaching by helping teach the little ones on a Sunday morning and Hannah followed in similar footsteps.
Swimming for children with disabilities is the biggest unmet need in sport. The water takes your weight; it’s a true leveller. It relieves pain and offers freedom and independence that many of our children never experience elsewhere.
Level Water use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.

Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water as much as we have.
