Story
“The Rescue Hotel supports up to 800 stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs every year. We ensure these dogs receive any veterinary treatment they may need, assist with behaviour training and provide any additional home comforts a dog may need to make their stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible before they are adopted in to a new loving home.”
I am turning 30 this year and dogs have been one of the biggest sources of joy throughout my life despite never having my own. It’s my dream to one day be able to foster and rescue as many dogs as possible to give them loving homes as every dog deserves! Until this is possible I am trying to raise funds for the incredible organisations carrying out this work already like Cardiff dogs home and the rescue hotel.
As many of you many know I am a big walker, a slut for a strut if you will. Both with and without a fluffy companion however I am looking to try and hit 300km before I turn 30 on the 15th of October and raise £1 per kilometre to try and get £300 for this fantastic organisation that helps dogs in need 365 days a year.
If you can spare just £1 for a kilometre of my journey I super appreciate it and the pups do too!
I am a grandma and can’t workout how to link my Strava properly but at the end of week 8 we’re at 391.54km and £301! Thank you!
