Story
One dark, wet night in November Rachel and I were talking about my desire to have a challenge in 2025, that would focus my brain and body on strength and fitness for the future.
I mentioned to Rachel I'd like to do something big, challenging, and sporty in 2025. So together we’re going to cycle from Shoreham by Sea to Plymouth- this is 250 miles of spinning our legs over just 5 days! Come rain or shine we’re determined to do this. We start on Monday 28th July from Higgidy HQ in Shoreham and will arrive at Ginsters, Plymouth on Friday 1st August. Your support will mean a lot
Given the size of the challenge - not only that it is 250 miles, but more that I do not even own a bike at the time of typing this (2nd Dec '24) we thought we better do this for a worthy cause!
The Huntington's Disease Association supports anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease across England and Wales. We pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; raise awareness and promote research towards better treatment and care.
Unfortunately, my family is at the mercy of this disease, my mum, my sister, and my nephew.
I really want to do all that I can to support them and the charity that continues to support many families suffering with the disease, and thankfully I have lovely people in my life, such as Rachel, who feel the same.
So please recognise the size of the challenge and dig deep to support this charity.
