As a healthcare professional working with people affected by kidney disease, I see the impact the condition has on people's lives in so many ways. Therefore, I decided this year to set myself a challenge and help raise money for an important charity.

Popham Kidney Support is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by kidney disease across Wales, along with their families and carers.

Our aim is simple — to help people living with kidney disease lead a better quality of life.

A kidney disease diagnosis can be life-changing, bringing emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Many people feel overwhelmed as they adjust to treatment and daily life.

We exist to make that journey easier.

We provide emotional and practical support through peer support, counselling, financial assistance, wellbeing initiatives, and education. We also work with partners to improve services for the kidney community.

Every fundraising effort helps us reach more people in need and continue delivering vital support across Wales. Your support ensures that no one faces kidney disease alone.
