Story
I am fundraising for Rockinghorse Children's Charity, a Brighton based charity which supports sick and disabled children across Sussex.
This charity is very close to my heart due to the difficult circumstances of Ronny's birth and the (fortunately) short time he spent in The Trevor Mann Baby Unit. In a moment of madness after being inspired by the TV coverage of the London Marathon I signed up for 2025 and am looking forward to running and raising money for this great charity.
They support babies, children and young people, along with their families, at The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital and The Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and all of the specialist children’s wards and baby units throughout Sussex.
Since 1967 they have supported nearly a million children with lifesaving medical equipment, support for families, environments and spaces for children and additional staff.
Over the coming months, we're planning a pub quiz, a few bake sales and a kids' sports event (watch this space!) to raise money; but if you are still reading and able to add to this fundraiser, your donation -however small- will be so much appreciated!
Thank you!
Hannah xx
