Story
I’m running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for Northern Cancer Voices, a charity dedicated to making sure the voices of people affected by cancer are heard and help shape better care.
Through my work improving cancer services across Cumbria, I see every day how important it is to get cancer care right for patients and their families. Behind every service, pathway and improvement are real people who deserve to feel supported, listened to and cared for at some of the most difficult times in their lives.
That’s why this cause means so much to me. Northern Cancer Voices works to ensure that patient experiences are at the heart of cancer services, helping influence how care is designed and delivered so it truly meets the needs of those who rely on it.
Running the Manchester Marathon is a big challenge for me, but it feels like a small way to support a cause that I’m genuinely passionate about.
If you’re able to donate, share or support in any way, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every contribution helps amplify patient voices and improve cancer care for people across the North.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
