Running to raise money to help those who are affected by an acquired brain injury in South East Wales.

Story

So I’ve signed up for the Cardiff half. Yikes.

I’m not going to lie, I have not done enough training. But I am determined to run, skip or roll over the finish line with a smile on my face. I’ve decided to run in aid of Headway Cardiff and South East Wales to support those affected by acquired brain injury.  My amazing friend and team mate, Rhian, works for the charity and I’m constantly blown away by the incredible stories of the work they do.

Acquired Brain Injury can happen to anyone, anywhere at any time. Lives can be changed in an instant. Headway Cardiff & South East Wales support individuals with Acquired Brain Injury to regain their independence and help their families, friends and carers adapt to a new way of life. Headway offer social groups, life skills sessions, counselling, an Information & Outreach service and an Independence & Wellbeing Centre based at Llandough Hospital.
