Story
Walk of hope 2024.
After suffering from headaches for one week in June 2020 I was diagnosed with a craniopharyngioma. A benign brain tumor. This period of time was extremely tough, particularly given we were also living with the covid pandemic! I originally spent three weeks in hospital and underwent two operations. I then returned a month later and underwent my third operation, a craniotomy.
Fast forward four years. I am constantly living with the effects of the brain tumour and take on each challenge thrown at me with courage and determination.
I am keen to raise money towards research. In the past, I have raised funds by making key rings and

last year I made Christmas cards.
Those that know me know I can struggle with mobility. I have decided, however, to take on a 5k walk around a park in Luton (tricky given I am a Watford supporter!!!)
I would very much appreciate any amount of sponsorship to give me the boost to get around the walk.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
