Story
This October, I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association – a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.
In October 2024, my family received the devastating news that my stepdad had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). It’s a moment that changed everything. MND is a cruel, progressive illness that affects the brain and nerves, and there is currently no cure. Watching someone you love face this disease is heartbreaking – and something no family should have to go through.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association has been a vital source of support for my stepdad and our family, offering guidance, care, and hope during an incredibly difficult time. I’m taking on this challenge to show my support for him, to raise awareness, and to help fund vital research and services for those living with MND today.
This cause means so much to me and my family. Any donation – no matter how small – would mean the world.
Thank you for your support
