Story
I’m taking on my first half marathon in june to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a cause that means so much to me and my family.
My nan has Parkinson’s, but she is far more than her diagnosis—she has always been my biggest inspiration. She’s spent her life staying active, running, and looking after her health, and that mindset has shaped the way I approach my own fitness. Even now, at 83, she can still hold a plank, which says everything about her determination and strength.
Watching her face the challenges of Parkinson’s with resilience and positivity has motivated me to push myself further than ever before. This half marathon is not just a personal milestone, but a way to give back and support the incredible work being done to help people living with Parkinson’s.
Any support, whether through donations or encouragement, means a huge amount. Thank you for helping me make a difference.
