Everyone deserved a place to call home.

This winter, over 9,500 children don't, the highest number on record. It is an outrage and doesn't have to be this way.

The number of children stuck in temporary accommodation has increased by a staggering 130% since 2014 - but instead of tackling this horrific situation, @scotgov decided to make it worse by cutting the housing budget by 26%. As shameful as it is shocking.

Now more than ever, shelter helplines, resources and campaigning are required to tackle this crisis.

To raise money for this essential cause, which is close to my heart I will be running the Edinburgh Half Marthon in memory of my granny and her sisters.
