I have been lucky enough to be chosen to run the London Marathon 2025 for the incredible charity: Parkinson's UK. I would love you to join me on my marathon journey and supporting this amazing charity. With their hard work, research and support for those who have Parkinson's, every little bit will go help those who need this.

I am running this for my one and only gan gan. My grandad has got Parkinson's and sadly has really effected his life. Over years he has struggled with the effects of the disease which for my grandad is exhaustion and his mobility. Since he also has arthritis that has impacted his ability to move and has severe pain every day.

My grandad aka Grizz the cowboy, used to hang out with all his other cowboys mates, line dance with my nana every weekend, dancing around to ABBA and every Christmas he was Santa Claus for all the younger children at their western club but as this disease got worse, stopped his ability to do all of his favorite things and had to stay at home. My nana is his absolute queen and has been his full time carer. Thankfully they have had help and support with external carers coming in every day and equipment installed in their house to try and help my grandads day to day life.

Sadly In June 2024, 2 weeks before my wedding, My grandad had a stroke. This effected his speech, movement, confusion, vision & emotional response. He had been in the hospital for 3 weeks getting 24/7 care, starting to see improvements when suddenly the day after my wedding we got the news that he had another stroke which sadly had even more impact on my grandad.

Both strokes combined with his Parkinson’s has now had a huge impact on my grandads life and our families.

I am unsure what the future holds for my grandad as there is nothing more medically they can do for him but I know with the support from everyone that he can try get stronger day by day. Every donation goes towards an incredible charity that supports people like my grandad.

He is always my biggest fan of my HannDrawn business where I create murals and window artworks. I always paint on my grandparents windows to brighten up their day and it is their favourite thing. So I would like to try raise money through my window paintings to support this great charity. @hanndrawnlondon

My grandad always has been one of my biggest supporters to my crazy ideas. I know he would be proud of me for this big one, The London Marathon.
