I’m raising money for Miscarriage UK by running the Great North Run on 13th September 2026!

On 7th September 2025, the day before the GNR, I was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery. I had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured. This was so scary and sudden, and this is why I’m raising money for this charity.

Miscarriage UK is a UK-based charity that provides support, information, and advocacy for anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic, or molar pregnancy. It offers a helpline, support groups, and online resources, while working to improve medical care and increase public awareness regarding pregnancy loss
