On Saturday 27th September, I’ll be taking on ‘Race the Sun’, an epic triathlon-style challenge along Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic Coast. Thankfully, I won’t be doing it alone… joining me on this slightly mad adventure are my sister Sara and two brilliant friends, Charlotte and Becky. Together, we are Team Cirque du Sore Legs 🤣

The team will complete:

🚴‍♀️ 34 mile cycle through the stunning (and seriously hilly) Purbecks

🥾 8 mile coastal hike

🛶 2 mile kayak

… all between sunrise and sunset!

We’re raising money for Action Medical Research, which is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years the charity has helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. The charity urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children.
