Hannah's fundraiser for DocBike in Memory of Jack

Hannah Trinder is raising money for DocBike
In memory of Jack Bray

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

When motorcyclists are involved in a collision, often their injuries are catastrophic, and no amount of medical care can save a person’s life. DocBike works to eradicate motorcycle-related deaths and serious injury through engagement, injury prevention, education and roadside critical care.

Story

On June 28 2023, my cousin Jack was in a motorcycle accident and sadly passed away. Jack was always full of life and laughter, and I think every person he met will always have a funny memory with Jack. He was a supporter of DocBike so on behalf of jack would like to raise some money during the run up to running the London Marathon 2025.

On average, 6 motorcyclists are killed or seriously injured every week in the UK. You have the power to help change this!

DocBike is a charity putting a highly trained trauma doctor or critical care paramedic on two wheels. Working alongside local emergency services, they provide life-saving critical care whilst helping to prevent collisions from happening.

It costs approximately £50,000 to put a DocBike on the road. DocBike receives no direct funding from the Government and relies on your generosity to continue their life-saving work.
