Story

I’m incredibly proud to be taking part in the Great North Run in aid of WellChild, and I’d like to say a huge thank you to Heywoods Estate Agents for sponsoring me. Their support means so much as I take on this challenge and raise funds for a charity that does such important work for children and families across the UK. https://heywoodsproperty.co.uk/

The Great North Run has always been a half marathon that's been on my "Must Run" list with such an iconic route, 60,000 runners and amazing crowd support the whole way round.

This year, I'm massively privileged to have the opportunity to run it alongside my Dad, Nigel - who continues to inspire and motivate me to keep running with my aim to be even half as fit as him in my 70's!!

I'm taking this opportunity to fundraise for a charity that does amazing work and relies heavily on fundraising. As a mum of 2 beautiful children, this charity resonates and I hope others will feel the same and any donation no matter how big or small would be massively appreciated by myself and the charity - Thank you xx

Here's a little more about the charity:

WellChild enables children with complex medical needs to thrive at home by funding specialist nurses, connecting families through peer support, providing hands-on training, and transforming outdoor spaces.

Your donation will help to give this growing population of children and young people the best possible chance to thrive: properly supported at home, together with their families.

Many thanks and lots of Love, Hannah ( and Nigel ) xx
