On the 27th April 2025 I will run the furthest my 41 year old body has ever ran and take part in the epic and wonderful London Marathon raising money for the NSPCC.

Why the NSPCC?

On average, a child contacts Childline every 45 seconds. Mental and emotional health and well being is the top reason for contact with 30% of calls resulting in referrals for counselling.

It costs a whopping £30,000 a day to keep this vital service running. A DAY!!

I’d like to raise as much a possible to help keep it going.

As a mother to a young child I am also aware of the work that the NSPCC do with schools. My son came home recently talking about the PANTOSAUROUS! The Speak Out Stay Safe program also covers topics like bullying and abuse - without using any scary words or adult language.

I have lived in London for over 20 years the Marathon has always been a far off dream for me and completing it will be a huge goal met and a massive challenge!

I am also an illustrator who often makes work for children and I will be including illustrated based incentives for sponsorship!

Firstly, a pack of limited edition vinyl stickers for kids (or big kids) created especially for this fundraising.
