Story
Call it a midlife crisis but I have been given the opportunity to run the London marathon in 2025 for a brilliant cause. To say this has been on my bucket list for a while is an understatement, but next year is the year. Working as support I see how people and families can thrive with the right support. Any donation I would be grateful for.
Time to get in my funny shoes!
There are 16 million disabled people in the UK. That’s one in four of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed and the cost of living is higher by £975 each month. It’s wrong and unacceptable.
Scope’s mission is for disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
So, I'm fundraising for Scope to create a fairer society.
We want a future that’s fair to disabled people, always. Join me in making this happen.
All funds go directly towards supporting Scope’s vision of a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We campaign relentlessly to create a fairer society, while providing practical and emotional advice and support to disabled people and their families when it’s needed most.
