Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, running and sport as a whole has always been a part of my life. From a young age, I discovered a sense of freedom and exhilaration when training and competing. It started with a simple love for running, but soon sprinting became my passion, pushing myself to the limits of speed and endurance. Well, now, I've embraced a new challenge: long-distance running. The London Marathon presents a unique opportunity, not just to test my physical and mental capabilities, but to contribute to a cause close to my heart.

This year, I’ve taken on an incredible challenge: running the London Marathon (some might say mental). But this race is about more than just personal achievement and childhood dream; it's about making a difference. I am running to support a charity that provides sporting opportunities for children with disabilities, Get Kids Going.

Sport has given me so much throughout my life – confidence, discipline, joy – and I believe every child should have the chance to experience those same benefits, regardless of their abilities. Children with additional needs often face barriers that prevent them from participating in sports, and that’s something I’m passionate about changing.

By running this marathon, I aim to raise awareness and funds to ensure these children have the opportunities they deserve. Opportunities to play, to compete, to feel the same joy I have felt. Every child should know the thrill of crossing a finish line, the camaraderie of a team, and the pride in achieving a personal best.

Training will not be easy, I am a sprinter trying to convert to a marathon, but for this charity, it will be worth it. So if you can please support me as I take the leap into this new challenge! Over coming months, I hope to throw a few events to fundraise so keep your eyes peeled!
