Story
------------------------------------------------------------
Together with some of the best and closest family and friends in my support network; Chloe, Tash, Helen, Juliette, Nic, Sophie, Sara, Zoe, Emma, Max Jess, Cam, Ellie and Brody, I will be taking part in the Walk of Life 2026 to support the Breast Unit at RUH, Bath.
2025 was the most difficult year I could have ever imagined, following my diagnosis of breast cancer. Since then, I have undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and multiple operations — a journey that has been incredibly challenging both physically and emotionally.
Through some of the most frightening times, the Breast Unit at the RUH have been nothing short of incredible. Their care, compassion, and unwavering support have carried me through moments I never thought I could face. The medical care has been outstanding — from the breast care nurses to the surgeons, everything has been handled so swiftly, professionally, and with such kindness. Even in the most overwhelming moments, their support has made a real difference.
As I continue treatment indefinitely and remain under their care, I feel so grateful to be in such safe and dedicated hands.
We would really love to give something back to this amazing team, to say thank you for everything they’ve done, and continue to do — not just for me, but for so many others.
Any support, no matter how small, would mean so much to us all 💕
Together, the funds we help raise will make a real life impact. Every penny goes towards helping care for patients at the hospital and providing state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for loved ones. From transforming hospital wards, funding life changing research and innovative technologies, to providing mental health first aid training to staff and arts programmes for children and older people on our wards. With your help, we can make our care extra extraordinary for every patient, and support our hospital staff to do what they do best.
