Story
I sadly lost my Nan to bowel cancer that spread to her liver and lungs in November last year. There aren’t many things I could think of to do that would be enough to honour her, but I saw this challenge and thought I’d give it a go. My Nan was the most kind, gentle, caring person you could ever meet and would help anyone and everyone. She was always my biggest supporter. She truly was a rare soul that made this world a better place. It breaks my heart the ending she had💔
I will definitely try to run as much of this as I possibly can but majority of it will probably be walking. 🤣 in the future I would definitely like to do some more adventurous things raising money for Bowel Cancer UK in her memory.
Most of my memories with my nan were her taking me out for long hikes and walks in the countryside, and although I complained about how long the walks were, they were the best days. I know for a fact if she knew I was doing a challenge like this she’d laugh. I have to raise £275 by 19th September to go ahead with my place in this challenge, so if you can sponsor me it would mean the whole world and more. I know my Nan would be so grateful, as will I. 🩵
