Coram, the UK’s first and longest-serving children’s charity, changes lives, laws and systems to create better chances for children, now and forever.

Story

Coram is the UK children’s charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for 279 years, and is still finding new ways to help them. They now help about 1.4 million children and young people every year.

In 2016, Scottish actor and philanthropist Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, Benediction, The Devil's Hour) became a celebrity patron to Coram. Since then he has supported the charity's work such as attending special events or creating promotional videos. In 2017, he became the official host of Voices, a youth writing competition by Coram Voice.

To celebrate Peter's 65th birthday (14 April), I am once again raising funds for Coram, a charity he cares deeply for. Please donate what you feel is the most comfortable for you or spreading the word always helps. Thank you!
