Story
On Monday morning, 6th February 2023, a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit southern Turkiye and Syria has now killed at least 17,000 people, with the number expected to continue to rise.Thousands of people are still missing, believed to be trapped under rubble as rescue workers continue to search mounds of wreckage in cities and towns across the area to save them before it is too late.
A fundraiser has been organized to raise money for Syria and Turkey, and the method chosen is a sponsored walk. Participants will walk a set distance, and people can sponsor them by donating money to the cause. The funds raised will be used to support relief efforts for the people affected by the ongoing conflicts and humanitarian crises in Syria and Turkey.
Please support our fundraiser, so we can help those effected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
