Story
🌍 Coast to Coast for Sikh Heritage
I will be taking on the Costa Rica Coast to Coast Challenge, crossing Costa Rica from the Caribbean to the Pacific through dense rainforest, mountains and rivers.
Over several days, I’ll be trekking 6–8 hours a day in extreme heat and humidity, camping in remote jungle environments and pushing through physically demanding terrain. Part of the challenge includes rafting down the Pacuare River, taking on powerful white-water rapids surrounded by untouched rainforest.
This will be a serious test of endurance — but it’s not my first.
Previously, I completed a 100km trek across the Sahara Desert, travelling through the Jebel Saghro mountains, climbing Jebel Lamrakeb and finishing in Ouarzazate. That experience pushed me to my limits — and now I’m ready for the next challenge.

🏛️ Why I’m Doing This
I am undertaking this challenge to raise £5,000 for Virasati Asthan Seva, a charity dedicated to preserving and protecting Sikh heritage sites.
In particular, this effort is supporting the restoration of the historic haveli of Bhai Santokh Singh — the revered scholar and poet who authored Sri Gurpratap Suraj Granth, one of the most important historical texts in Sikh tradition.
This haveli is not just a building.
It is a place where poetry and devotion came together.
A place where one of the greatest Sikh literary works was brought to life.
Today, the building is in a fragile condition and urgently needs conservation to prevent further damage.
