Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising page. Having only started my running journey in 2024, completing my 5K and 10K runs, i had set myself a target of completing the full Marathon in 2025. Not only will this be a great personal achievement, but a opportunity to raise awareness and support for Aspire who are a great charity doing amazing things.

Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. A spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at any time, and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire exists because there is currently no cure. People will lose muscle and sensory control and a large majority will become full time wheelchair users for the rest of their lives.

Through it's projects and programmes, Aspire offers practical support to the 105,000 people living with spinal cord injury in the UK. This support allows people to lead fulfilled and independent lives, in their homes with their families, in their workplace and in leisure time.

I know this will not be easy running this marathon, but i would like to say a big thank you in advance for your support and donations, this will push me to the finish line knowing what a difference we are making to people's lives.

Thank you
