Story
On March 28th, my husband, Haris Simpson, passed away suddenly after an acute cardiac event at just 34 years old whilst on holiday with friends in Austria. There are no words to capture the loss of Haris, not only for me, but for our beautiful baby girl Nora, and all Haris' family, friends and loved ones.
Haris and I had been together for 19 years. We met as teenagers, grew up side by side, and built a life rooted in laughter and love. But some good must come out of this tragedy and I would like to honour his memory in a way that might help others.
Heart disease can strike without warning. Research, early detection, and improved treatments are vital. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is doing lifesaving work, and with your help, they can do even more. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from donations that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
Please consider donating in Haris' memory — no matter the amount — and help us fund research that could save lives.
