This year, I’m joining my colleagues at Matrix Academy Trust to raise money for PAPYRUS — a charity that means so much to me.
 In May 2026, we’ll be taking on an incredible challenge: walking the full 84-mile Hadrian’s Wall Path in just four days.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death among young people under 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. Research also shows that when a young person loses someone close to them to suicide, their own risk can rise — but with the right support, suicide is preventable.
 PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
