Story
The Sikh Legal Assistance Board was set up in 2018 after it came to light that there were political prisoners in Indian jails whom were not receiving legal assistance.
This fact was brought to light by Jagtar Singh Johal (currently arbitrarily incarcerated in India), through his lawyer.
As a result the Sikh Legal Assistance Board was setup to provide legal assistance to political prisoners that would otherwise have none.
Since the setting up of the organisation, over 160 political prisoners have been released, through the efforts of the Sikh Legal Assistance Board.
I am hoping to raise as much as possible for the legal board, so that they can continue providing legal assistance to those that would otherwise have none.
Please donate whatever you can afford to help raise as much as possible.
Please see the following cases blog as an example of the work that the legal board has been doing: https://www.sikhlegalboard.org/blog
